The Characters of Vine and Weaver

In the beginning there was a void. The Internet was
without particularly interesting form and voice and the
darkness was upon the face of the monitors.

And then it was said, " Let there be Levitea!". And there
was Levitea.

And with Levitea, everyone  laughed and said it was good
and her light shone in the depths of darkness and All Was
Well in the World.

So ended the first day.
Levitea divided those who saw the Light from those who
remained in Darkness and gathered round her the
Believers and the Visionaries. I looked and saw it was so.

The Coming Together of Like Minds and the Thrill of
Discovery were the second day. Levitea called this
creative process Heaven and said, "I think we're on to
something here!" and it was so.

And Levitea said, " Let the Universe bring forth the
Goddesses of the Earth and Seas and let the seeds of
Creativity be sown all around in Great Abundance.

And it was so.

From the Hills of Gold came Cananga: Goddess of the
Fragrant Bath and Priestess of the Checkered Past. A
devotee of all things Organic and well loved by all, she
was named the Aqueous Nymph and there was much
rejoicing.
And so ended the third day. And it was getting really
good.

Levitea was well pleased when from the Land of Ash and
Self-Help Gurus came the Wise Woman of the Waters:
Goddess of Abundant Relationships. The Mermaid was
joined by her consort and delicious companion, the
Salamander, known to the multitudes as the God of Fire
and Water and a really great guy.

The Mermaid and the Salamander were the fourth day.
And Levitea said, " Let the Goddesses bring forth more of
their Kind and more Brainstorms and let us make a
Website in our own image, after our own likenesses and
tastes in Art. We shall call it after the Fruits of the Vine
and the Weaver of the Magical Web. The Internet will
never be the same! And it was so.

The Heavens raged and they were deluged in Creativity
and fabulous old public domain artwork.

Exceptional Products came forth and Systems and
Structure and A Very Nice Website. The Goddesses saw
that it was indeed All Quite Good.

And Levitea blessed them saying, "Let us be fruitful and
multiply our efforts one hundredfold and let's get this
show on the road!"

And so concluded the fifth day.
And Over the long weekend...

The Goddesses begat still more Goddesses such as Salty
Dawg: the Savory Goddess of Herbs and Seasonings, and
Claire: the Goddess of the Beautiful Face.

Soon  came  Coumarin: Enchanted Goddess of Magical
Perfumes  and her sister Kitty the Playing Cat Goddess.

Followed by Erica-Myrica: Fragrant Plant Goddess and
Maery the Magickal Goddess.

And when Levitea had a minute, she saw everything that
they had made, and, behold, it was VERY good.

And that, O Best Beloved, is how It all Began...
